A wilderness trip should be a pleasure!

Maturity has taught us that we can enjoy the wilderness, inhale the mountain air and enjoy unsurpassed areas with a minimum of work. We show you how. A wilderness trip should not be an ordeal. Travel in any remote area is hard enough without making it harder.

Struggling under an eighty pound pack is fine for a kid out to prove himself, but we take the load off your back by providing burros. If you prefer to carry your pack, we encourage you limit your load to a maximum of 30 lbs.

We operate with the belief that seeing unspoiled beauty is far more important than seeing how many miles we can log.

Things You'll See & Do:

Cuidad Cuauhtemoc is a quaint Mexican town famous for its cheese (we'll visit a cheese factory here) and other dairy products that are produced by people in the Mennonite Colonies. Populatio of Cuauhtemoc is 150,000 of which 75,000 are Mennonites.

The Mennonites Migrated to Canada in 1880 but because of the problems experienced with the Canadian Government, moved to Mexico in 1920. The Mennonites bought 50,000 acres of land for $8.50 an acre and turned the semi-dessert area into one of the most productive parts of Chihuahua.

Tarahumara Indians are nomads who once owned all of the high plateaus. In the winter months they live in the canyons where it is warm, then move to higher altitudes when the weather gets hot. They are extremely fast runners and many still live in caves.

You'll be able to shop in El Mercado (the market) in Chihuahua. This is the place to buy anything that comes from Mexico, all under one roof.

Do Something For Yourself:

Undoubtedly, I can think of no better way to unwind from the pressures of the modern civilization rat race than to enjoy the experiences this remarkable area has to offer. Most of us travel so we can see new and interesting surroundings and, at least temporarily, escape from everyday happenings and problems... to get away from it all. Some people choose to spend their entire time at our hacienda doing nothing and just visit the people in the village.

I guarantee a highly enjoyable outing with a feeling of freedom seldom found on other trips.

Reserve time for yourself and join us. You'll get more than your moneys worth and have one of the best vacations you have ever taken.
